IN THE MEANTIME...

Here's the plot:
Set in a small town in the Pacific Northwest, this is the story of a teenage girl named Henri (Land) who, fascinated by the seemingly idyllic life of the family of a boy she befriends at her new school, goes to extreme lengths to try to escape the limitations of the poverty that she otherwise endures living in a shack with her mother (Seymour) and grandmother.
